I love this app. Explain Everything apps are so useful and irreplaceable for me. If you want to see sustainability in your school for one-to-one learning wit iPad, EE is your unique educational tool. No doubt.

Video Tutorials, instructions and manuals can be prepared much quicker then in traditional way.

I do enjoy freedom of creativity in Explain. Nice job!

There are tons of great features. The fact that this application has a equation editor makes it more valuable then any current iPad word processor, or any whiteboard application

Line width varies very sensitively with drawing speed with the apple pencil on an ipad pro, making legible writing much harder than it used to be. Please provide a fixed line width option! Both drawing style options (Calligraphy & Ink) have this problem in v3.31. Otherwise, an amazing tool for the classroom.

The new release adds pressure sensitivity with the apple pencil, but it is much too sensitive and makes it normal handwriting much less readable unless you write very slowly. Please add an option to disable any pressure sensitivity. I wrote technical support and they suggested I buy their new app which doesnt have this problem, so not very respectful of existing customers!

Pressure sensitivity must be disabled. App is unusable now because line width is always changing and handwriting is now hard to read.

I use this all the time to capture and lay out tasks and concepts for my students. Feedback from students is phenomenal.

The functionality of this app is unparalleled. One thing I would ask for is a protractor...this would be a huge help for geometry teachers.

Please let us export video captured in-app to the camera roll separately. Let me explain. When there is video in a project, rendering it takes 2-3x slower than real time even on the iPad Pro. A 1-min project takes 3-min to render. If we remove and export the video to the camera roll, rendering is 4-5x faster than real time. A 1-min project takes 15sec. Using iMovie, we can combine and render the removed video and exported explain everything project 4x faster than real time. So the total render time of a 1 minute project is 30sec instead of 3 minutes. A 10 min projects will take 5 min instead of 30 min.

Explain Everything Classic renders video from a project on a device, which was always very powerful. The new Explain Everything (with white icon) can additionally do the cloud project compression.

This app is perfect in so many ways. Ive never had it crash on me... It allows you to create animations and how-to videos. I have a YouTube channel and this has brought me to a whole new level. I cant imagine life without it now. You have to try it. With son many options and the Ajonit Dot you cant go wrong?

The program is full of glitches. After two days and 100+ attempts I still havent produced one usable lesson. Items in the slides regularly disappear and are unrecoverable. When using a website in a slide the pen function doesnt work correctly and the finished product looks nothing like what you recorded. Twice I have saved and lost items from multiple slides. If this app worked it would be exactly what I need. Sadly, this app has wasted my money and time. Back to the drawing board.

Would be a great app if the cut tool wasnt so horrible. When cropping a picture and using your finger to draw a line around the object you cant see where the line is for fine tuning since your finger is covering it. Adding a magnifying glass next to your finger would be a simple fix.

I teach 4th grade and have been using this app for about 1 1/2 years. I LOVE it! I only have one iPad in my room. When I use the app, I am usually reflecting it through my computer and to a projector. It works great for me to use as a whiteboard while teaching a lesson and is also fantastic when we pass the iPad around the room for students to show their thinking. It is packed with useful features and I do not experience the crashing issues some have mentioned. I cant speak for the recording features of the program because I use a screen recording program I have on my Mac that records what I am mirroring (ScreenFlow). I dont write a lot of app reviews, but since this is my favorite app, I thought I should offer my unbiased thoughts. I plan to try the collaborative version of the app soon and hope to have equally successful results.

Im in my freshman year in high school. I had to do a project with my friends and we couldnt get the pen to write correctly it was so late and we lost half of our work two days of saving the app crushes a lot I would never use this app again. And it wont download on my friends iPad.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO MY PROJECT FOR THE PAST 3 HOURS AND THIS STUPID APP WONT LET ME ZOOM IN OR OUT DURING A PROJECT, THE PLACEMENT OF MY DRAWINGS IS COMPLETELY OFF, AND WHENEVER I TRY TO ADD OR "MIX" IN ANOTHER RECORDING, IT GLITCHES OUT, AND DELETES ALL OF MY PROGRESS. DONT GET THIS, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE EXTREMELY FRUSTERATED FOR WASTING YOUR TIME ON THIS TRASH.
